Mooching around Halfrauds earlier I came across various oil additives promising to do such things as quieten tappets, restore compression, remove gunk from cylinders, clean injectors, etc,. Any ideas if they work?
I did recently use some injector cleaner that was added to fuel and that coupled with an Italian service seemed to cure a slight misfire that I had.
