Advice need re faded paint

Morning gents/ladies

Just wondered if anyone could recommend a product/procedure for restoring faded paintwork. The car is red and the roof looks like it has been bleached in the sun and has a slightly white apperance.

Normally, a decent slightly abrasive polish or worst case, tcut will bring oxidised red paint back to perfect, then a good thick coat of polish should help keep it there.

It depends on the car,and the model, try what J berks has said, if it is a 2 pack finish, and the paint has changed under the top coat, only a re paint will solve it

Please do not use Tcut.

Tcut be a temporary solution and will cause more paintwork hazing in the future.

Best way is a porta cable da polisher, (snap on do a similar one) and use powerglos polish followed by final finish polish.

If using by hand try 3m perfect polish.

If all else fails use solvol autosol (chrome polish) on a small area at a time followed by normal car polish.

I poloshed a friends red but turned pink corrado last summer. It came up like new and is stil as shiny now as it was then. If you ever in Cornwall i will do it for you.
