Any advice on how to remove this plastic intake seems really brittle don't want to give anything

Usually just a good pull gets it off. Maybe use a thin lever under around that middle tab and then pull and twist .

First you lift under the plastic with a screwdriver and pull out (black arrow)
Then turn the plastic 90 degrees and pull up (green)
Then finally lift up the end of the pipe and pull up (blue)

Maybe warm it up by Running the engine so the plastic isn’t cold
