Anyone recommend and after-market DAB aerial which has matching tech specs for an AutoDAB ADL-MC1?

Assuming the aerial lead will suffice and it's just a case of swapping the shark-fin aerial and soldering the relevant terminals?

Thanks in advance.

The guys down at Comand in Lightwater should be able to sort you out with something suitable.

No doubt but they are miles away and 'go to a shop and be told what to buy' doesn't answer my Q.

Thanks anyway.

We are on the Hampshire/Berks/surrey border.

Happy to give you impartial advice.

If you definitely want external then look at the Calearo range. They are very good and offer surface mount and shark fin types. We have some in stock if you want to pop in and have a look at them. No obligation at all.

I have used one of these.....

http://www.dabonwheels.co.uk/Kinetic_DRA-6003_FM-AM_DAB_car_aerial.html

I have been all over the UK and only lost reception between the M74 and Edinburgh, is it the A702? Going through Biggar, there was a spot for about a minute where it dropped out.
All around the North Norfolk coast where there is no Dab reception was fine, picked it up no problem.

That's the sort of thing I'm after and I've been perusing that site for a while now.

At home I can get 100% DAB reception from a Pure radio on top of the fridge in the kitchen
but a Denon DAB unit in the front office I have to use a DiY tuned loop/bare coax aerial.

Unsightly but it's the only method of resolving a satisfactory signal.

I know how flaky DAB reception can be but .. 6 Music.

Thanks for your offer.

I understand that the roof aerial is for GSM and GPS?

Ideally I would like a DAB/GPS alternative which fits the footprint or is a direct replacement for the OEM.

Does such a thing exist?

TIA

Having a car with a stick on window job and built in unit and now a car with a magnetic type... The magnetic one trumps the window one every time for strength, I too have only lost signal on the m74... Only problem is its hardly good on the aesthetics
