Hi.My driveway slopes upwards and when my C250D was parked over night air would get into fuel system necessitating much cranking on morning starts. When parked downhill the car starts 1st time no problem.
Could anyone tell me the most likely spot where the air ingress occurs?
Thanks in advance Lee.

I don't know the C250TD. But, if it's anything like a W124 diesel, the air gets in via the pipework round the injection pump / fuel filter assembly. On a W124 the pipes have O-rings that flatten over time and leak when disturbed. Dealers have spare O-rings so try replacing them if the setup's similar

Of course the dealer technicians and parts guys may be able to help while you're in there...
