Hello
I'm new here and I need your help please
Just got my A180 urban car and I want to put my baby next to me in his baby seat.. However they told me at the Mercedes company that I need a Mercedes baby seat and then it unables the airbag automaticly. They said I can try another kind of seat and it sepose to work also..
I tried to put my maxi cossi seat and it didn't turn the light of the airbag off...
What can I do?????
Did any one managed to do it??? I don't want to buy a new babyseat now...

Mercedes require a transponder to disable the airbag, this transponder is fitted in Genuine MB child seats.
What people do is to remove this transponder pack from the MB seat and either attach it to their preferred seat or place the transponder on top of the car seat and put the child seat on top of it.
If you click the link below link to e-bay auction for a transponder, you might get one cheaper but this seller is willing to post overseas whereas some people prefer not to.
