Alarms have a means to switch off internal motion sensors if fitted, there will also be some way of switching off the whole alarm system so as to cope with faults just like yours.
Dose the alarm go off when you lock the car or when you are driving?
Take out, or remove the front part of the wheel arch liner held with nuts, with the front nuts removed it should bend out of the way, its near side i believe
There should be some way to disable the alarm other than by unplugging the siren, a key and key switch perhaps, someone with a similar car/year might know or an MB dealer perhaps
Am not say that the siren is not the cause of the fault but it should also be considered that the cause could be a defective door/boot or bonnet push switch not fully closing.
