Not sure if this is the right subsection but it happened whilst I was turning so I went for suspension!

So driving back from a job on the motorway and near the end of the journey I started getting an alarm (constant high beep) when turning the vehicle to the left. Noticed as we left the motorway onto slip road exit which then stopped as soon as the vehicle straightened back up. Didn't happen when turning right though. Was almost as if there was an over tilt alarm, as the box on these obviously leans as we corner, but i was doing the same speed when turning in both directions. Low speed roads were just the same too but then it just stopped and i couldn't recreate the problem.
Any ideas as to what could have caused this? No messages or lights on dash

Seems you are driving an ambulance. Ambulances like fire vehichles are fitted with all sorts of extras, could be a tilt alarm as you mentioned to ensured those in the back are not being thrown about...

Thanks for that, and yes you are correct it is an ambulance I'm driving! With regard to tilt alarms, I have driven the same roads for the last 6 months in this truck and never had the alarm sound so not sure what I did different this time! If this isn't typical to Mercs and in fact Ambo based then I will wait and see if this happens again.

You must talk to other ambulance drivers with sprinters and other drivers must drive "your" van so have they heard anything? Is it possible the alarm tone was coming from a piece of equipment you were carrying?
