I just wanted peoples thoughts on:
I seen these online, quite like the look of it but is buying one of these, fitting it like having a BMW 316 with a big silly M badge on the back?

I have a C63 AMG. What cars are these badges actually used on?

Putting an AMG badge on a proper AMG is nothing like sticking an M badge on a bog-standard BMW.

Cheers, just wanted to make sure I wasn't doing something frowned upon. It's funny when you see a blatant badge that's just been added, especially when it's on an angle, it's like you could of at least made an attempt at making it square. I remember seeing some Audi with either just an R4 badge or SR4 it was a while back, thinking on it maybe it was just satire.

Check out the inappropriate badging thread. People stick AMG badges on anything, including Citroen 2CVs and a VW UP! as I recall.

Love it, that is amazing, I wonder if they do it as a joke, I'm sure a few do but you do see some awful body styling out there so there's definitely people who put these on hoping to fool someone.

Yep, think they do, AMG guys are very protective of there Genuine AMGs.

It makes me smile, I am very happy if people want to put whatever badge they like on their cars. In a way it's a kind of compliment if they put an SL63 badge on their mini.

But that said my c220 sport has subtle amg badges on the wheels and floor mats from new and I don't know why?

AMG line and AMG Sport variants have mats & wheels logo's as part of the packages, marketing moves...
