Ok, this happened twice now.
Slow speed, left turn at roundabout, see a gap and accelerate - engine lurches and dies, then picks up and drives ok ok.
Thought I may have overcooked throttle and engine management kicked in.
Today, T Junction. Turning left, medium throttle and same again, this time a 2 second lag on picking up......

Checking codes the only tell tale is C11187 Communication to Fuel Pump, battery message missing

Drives fine otherwise, full power, nothing untoward in all gears and speeds.

Any ideas?

Ok. Update. This 'stall' only happens when in 1st gear. Now normally the box only drops to 2nd in normal driving.
However it does go down to 1st if the steering is turned to full lock.

Can somebody tell me/confirm if steering angle input changes down to 1st e.g. when parking?

If so then the apparent stall may just be a torque or limit in 1st with hard lock on steering??

It sounds like the traction control kicking in, try turning the TC off and try again (carefully) see if it happens then.

I did turn TC off, made no difference. Although I understand that turning TC off doesn't actually disable it fully.
I've reset the gearbox and will give it 250 miles to do some relearning and see if that improves things.

Does it actually stall so that you have to restart it, or just a stumble?

Did you reset the gearbox using Xentry? If not, anything posted on the net involving throttle pedal key on/off doesn't do anything to the GB adaptions.

Stumbles is a good word for it. It's a 1 second or 1.5 second thing, then picks up fine. Doesn't actually stop the engine.
