- ML 270CDi 2001.
Seen a few airco problems in the last few weeks and now I seem to have one too, I had mine re-gassed about a month or two ago, at first great nice and chilly out the events, oh by the way 2001 270CDi in and ML environment. Now I seem to remember reading somewhere that most MB compressors and now full time and no longer use a clutch, this seems to be borne out when after my refill switching on the airco produced no discernable reduction of revs which is what I get in my Toyota (still has a clutch) so away I go happy in the knowledge that according to the grease monkey there were no leaks in the system and it had been regassed to perfection. So once a week I diligently turn it on for a short while to grease the circuit so to speak, now it doesn't seem to be cooling much more than hitting the fan at full speed. It is just marginally colder than opening the window at 50Mph.
Is there a known weakness in the ML163 system, could someone be able to direct a finger at a possible culprit please. although confused I am not getting blue with cold.
