I am slowly going through my "new to me" 320 coupe. The bulb has gone on the N/S heater vent. I can see the four clips lifting these does not help and they do not seem to depress. I can see plasic lugs on the righthand side of the vent. Do these hold the lamp holder? I removed the glove box lining and can trace the wire. What is the correct procedure here? Thanks for any help.

The clips release by pulling them "up" into the vent. Use four thin screwdrivers to release the clips then wiggle the vent out

The bulbholder clips in and the bulb is a push fit

The first one you do is difficult but after that they're easy!

W124 Outer air vent removal

Hi, Thanks for that - 4 x small screwdrivers that fit the holes in the tabs did the trick. I held the lower two in my palm the top two with my fingers pull gently together then used my free hand to wiggle out the vent. As you say once done it is very easy. Thank you
