Another MAF Query.......

My C200 Auto Elegance Jan 1 1997 does not appear to have one, the only electrical connection on the air pipe is the air temp sensor.

Is this common?

I am only asking because, when cold, the car has a tendency to stall and I thought I would clean the MAF..........

My 1995 c200 doesn't seem to have one either. Are we missing something ?
