Hello!
Yes folks I'm back and I've missed you all dearly! Been offline for 6months or more now and its great to be up and running again. Cars doing ok apart from a couple of things, there's always something with a car this old isn't there?
Stiil got bit of airlock in cooling system, but generally ok doesn't stay at 120 for anywhere near as long as it used to and runs a treat, two 700 mile round trips in the last 4weeks,90 cruising no probs.
Also got a problem with blower, it'll whizz if knocked up to MAX straightawy but then die off, then whizz, then die, then whizz, then die, and so on until it doesn't spin at all.
It could also do with a good service, oil, filters and brakes and I need some tough rear springs poor old girl was sat on her arse to London and back with family and luggage in the back? So I need a good parts supplier in Manchester or a good garage that can do the above, any ideas on price?
I haven't forgotten about you Mr Gayle but you're a bit too far away for me to tell the wife ".. I'm just nipping the car to the garage" and then return until the following day, but I'll be there someday soon, I've heard too many good reports from people you have helped out. Thanks again folks good to see you're all still here and the new forum looks a whole lot better.
