Could well be. Cars about that quick....

I really hope they can sort it out, not good seeing them back there, they have an excellent driver in Russel and Latifi should also be good

Its better on the TV from a spectators point of view anyway, just don't get the atmosphere. Or the $hit weather !! :)

I went to my first GP this year at Monza. First Ferrari win there in over a decade so the atmosphere was mental. We bought 3-day grandstand tickets for the first chicane, which was well worth it - got to see a lot of action plus the big screen showing the rest of the race. Amazing seeing the cars in the flesh, how they sound, brake an accelerate. I took my brother and my girlfriend, and dad and his wife joined us for the saturday and sunday. We stayed in como and took the train to the track each day- quite easy. Very memorable weekend and would love to go to another one. It wasn’t a cheap weekend but discovered you can still see quite a lot of the action with general admission tickets. Thinking about going to the Austrian GP next year. Looks like a stunning location to extend the trip too.

I wanted to put on a separate thread in the hope more get to see it...

is this the best way to train for next year ?

Unfortunately, for those asking the all-important question, it seems the stopwatches were left at home, with no official lap times currently available for either Rossi or Hamilton. I think that means Rossi who has done it all before was miles in front

My one and only Grand Prix was Monza in 2010.

I've seen all the videos now and it was nice to see how good LH actually is on a fast bike.
Rossi already renowned for being extremely good in an F1 car after his Ferrari tests way back.

So what will they do with all the left over cow skins after they've had the meat removed (because I sure as hell won't be making the missed steak of becoming vegetarian let alone vegan...)

ummm,

very few shots of them going for it. The commentary suggest rossi was (more experience in F1) doing better, but the camera stuff shows the bike going past start / finish going much harder than the car

only 0.7 sec slower than schumacher

I started watching and got bored...no comparison between a bike and car...IMO a pointless bit of video. However, LH did surprise me on that bike - he seemed pretty confident and unafraid.

Had my haircut today, done by a woman that, to say the least, has a very funky style. I commented on her Doc Martin's boots and she proudly told me "they are vegan friendly, they are plastic"............:geek::rolleyes:

IMO vegans are flaggelists. Inventing vegetable substitutes for meat products they love.

Oh the irony.. plastic that will never degrade instead of a natural substance that will biodegrade.

Unfortunately the irony is so far lost on them as to be on a different planet. I’ll keep converting dead dinosaurs to fun, eating a slightly warmed cow and wearing leather shoes and gloves.

If we were designed to be herbivores we'd have no incisors or canine teeth, but we're designed to be omnivores, eaters of meat and veg - so that'll be me until I'm looking up at the roots instead of down at the flowers!
