Any guides for changing alternator on E220

Hi, sorry my first post is a question but the alternator has packed up on our 2001 E220 CDI and my partner said he could change it if he had a guide???

After further investigation today by my partner, i think the pulley might be broken lol

Sorry about all the questions but he's never had anything to do with mercs before only vw's, he wants to know how the pulley's attached to the alternater because it looks like half of the pulley is still left on the alternator shaft????

Looks like a lot of scoring on the shaft too.Is this shaft part of the pulley or alternator????

That comes off,,it is a free wheel pulley of a sprag design, and I have emailed you the details of how to do it
