Any Mercedes Breakers in/around Manchester area

My apologies if this is in the wrong place. Not sure where to post this query.

Just thinking a good local breaker is always a handy thing when running old cars, but there's not many that tend to get Mercedes cars in.

I'd quite like a few trim parts, light, drivers door, maybe a front wing etc. There looks to be a couple of breakers that specialise in Mercedes down south and southwest....

Does anyone know of a good breakers yard around the Manchester or Northwest Area that tends to either specialise, or regularly gets W124 cars in??


I don't mind traveling a reasonable distance either. liverpool or leeds for example, particularly if I know I stand a reasonable chance of getting what I'm looking for, and not at rip-off "its a MB" prices

hi joe, i have used dronsfields for years, they are first class, the most helpfull person is angela dronsfield, the owner's daughter.

they are currently moving to new premisses, sort of going a bit up market, but when i last chatted to melvin dronsfield, the owner, he said the value for money would be maintained. herbiemercman.

I agree Dronfields 1st--Angela is particularly very knowledgeable about MB parts having been brought up in the business and been at it for years!
Dronfields is close to Manc -easy to find (Oldam) too.
Also in Leek not far away you have Indy M.B. parts ( Nick or James ) not too far away they run a shop on Ebay with parts ready removed listed + have a breakers yard full of MB bits too?
