Hi,

Could someone please confirm, is this the correct ATF dipstick for a 2003 CLK320 W209 auto (5-speed)? Ebay

Apart from the fluid itself, are there any other special tools/parts needed to change the ATF?

Many thanks!!

2002 SL500, 216 CL500, all fully loaded
That stick will do for the box and they are not left in,,they are used to check the level and then replace the sealing cap.

A length of curtain wire will do the same job where the fluid level will read 5.6cm up the wire when correct level.

You should change the filter at the same time. When you remove the pan, check that all of the bolts will undo by slackening them all a little
