Audio System Problems

Hi All,

Appreciate some guidance, have a C200 just over a year old.... have problems with audio system. It has been upgraded with the harmon kardor option and front speakers vibrate whenever listening to AM stations.

It's been back to dealers numerous times, but they are unable to fix. Have involved customer services on 00800 1777777 who are now part of loop, but surprisingly asked me to make a posting to forums to see if anyone else has this problem.

Real pain for me as I like listening to Talk Sport.

Am I only one with this problem or is it more common.

AM these days is hardly used, if the speakers are shot they will rattle with bass notes on CD and FM. If they do not, turn down or reduce the bass in the sound settings , speech mainly falls in the 1khz to 8khz band.

Am can be tuned for selectivity or sensivity and both cant be used at the same time, though this is outside your control, it depends on what the makers went for as this affect the the sound coming out, the more higher it is tuned the less the frequency response on the sound that comes out. Some radio's have a DX setting, that should be turned off for the best sound quality
