Can anyone help me I think my gear box is shot but not shore.
I have a E280 estate 1995 M 5 speed auto switchable.
whilst the wife was driving when she depresed the excelorater the car just rev even though in gear i checked the transmission fluid wich was very low and topped up but still the same problem when the engine is warm the gear box will ingage and then as you accelorate there is no propulsion the engine just revs (is it a new box or something else) she has done 125,000 miles with a full mercedes benz servive history. would be very grateful for any tips.
