Whist changing the belt I noted that the pipe (as above I think?) which runs along the length of the rad then a right angle turn to a fitting into the side of the rad This pipe runs along the very bottom of the rad adjacent to a cross member and is badly rusted and pitted so it would seem to sensible to replace it.
I have checked the Ruskie parts site but am unable to find the part number so any thoughts -
