Just a quick warning to anyone using Autoglass.
I had some stone chips repaired on the windscreen of E220 cabriolet by Autoglass two weeks ago (drivers side). Only today did I notice that the oik who did the job has knicked my Mercedes owners club tax disk holder along with several old disks and replaced it with a tacky stick on job advertising the company.
I don't know if this is some sort of company policy or just a one off.
needless to say I was livid! Not only about the holder but I had most of the old disks from new.
Chip repair not good either just to add insult to injury.
Contacted Autoglass today and was told they would get back to me......
This happened to anyone else?

Report it to the police as theft. Petty, but he won't do it again.

Trouble is the holder contained the original first tax disc from when the car was first registered. Which is irreplaceable!

Tell Autoglass that you are going to report the theft to the police.

Hi Smudge,
Absolutely diabolical I have had dealing's with Autoglass in the past and found them very helpful but you should take this to the top management. Please keep us informed of the outcome.

Thanks 'Hardtop' I felt like doing just that.
Any one know for certain how I stand on this one. I feel really cross about the whole thing. Customer services I felt, thought it was a bit petty!

Tell them you have put their name up on this site and everyone is going to go with another company:D also you had a buyer for the car if it was sold with all the tax discs, then go down to the yard and kick him in the boll=stones:D
