B Class AMG
Hi everyone

Got B Class 65 plate AMG recently.Lovely car until i came across few half bumps on the road & noticed car scrapping over the bumps at the front. Please advise if anyone else has come across same issue & ideas to over come this.Don't want to loose car & would try anything to raise car to resolve the issue.Any help would be appreciated .

Thanks

It’s not good going central as this puts a lot of pressure on the inside of the tyres and wheels
This can cause wheels to crack and tyre damage
It’s always better going 1 wheel off and one wheel on

When you say it’s catching is that as you drive on or off the hump? My wife’s a class catches the mudguards driving off any traffic calming and I’ve found it’s quite normal with the avantguard spec due to it being 15mm lower

It happens when i drive over half bump (two wheels on side & small hump in the middle). Ok to drive on normal humps.Might be normal as per spec on AMG line, but bit reluctant to go over them as might end up damaging sump. Any ideas how to raise little bit ?

You're unlikely to damage the sump as it's between the wheels. It will be the bottom of the bumper and perhaps the undertray.
Straddling speed humps is bad practice as it damaged wheels. Far better to put one wheel or the other over the middle of the hump and drive a bit slower.

Yep, +1 your going to be catching the very lowest part of the undertray, live had a look at my wife’s before and and it’s scratched to hell, including some deep gouges, nothing wrong with the car and nothing to worry about.
However as the others have said, put one wheel over the centre of the hump to save your suspension, wheels and tyres.
