Hi All, Just Joined and needing some help or info already 
I'm about to/thinking of buying a 1994 S280., but I'm still a bit worried about spending so much money.(well its a lot to me
)
This will be the first Merc that I have owned,(i've always wanted one) and although i wont be usuing it evey day(i have a motorbike and the wifes run around), I will wont to use it!! (including pulling our caravan a few times a year!)
so can anyone tell me realistically what it will do to the gallon - driven sensibly and not like a boy racer, what are the general running costs like (i will do my own sevicing etc) and any other things i need to look out for, known faults etc. prior to buying.(i'm looking at one tonight)
Any help/info from present/past owners would be greatly apreciated at this most strsssful of times
