Baby Seat in SL ?

Has anyone ever fitted a baby seat in the back of a R107 SL ?
Will one fit ?

Do you have the rear seat option and the rear lap belts? If so, you already have kiddy seats, as these are just what the back row of an SL are. In order to be really safe, you need to convert the 2 point belt to a static 3 point belt, kit available from SBS, search the web or this site for other threads. If you don't have the rear seat option, I don't think you can fit any child or Kiddy seats until you do get the option. If you try a seat from anywhere, you'll find there is no legroom for even the smallest of kids. That's because the rear eats were designed as kiddy seats from day one. You cab use the two point belt with an older child, as long as you get one of those tables through which the belt passes, and which acts as cushion for when they are thrown forward and not restrained by the absent diagonal strap.
I recommend cintacting Britax and SBS and seeing what they have to say.
You can use a kiddy seat with the 3 point belt in the front, as long as you disable or don't have the airbags, which I think only came as drivers option anyway on the later models.

If you look under the wooden shelf / floor you will see the holes for the seat belts.

Thanks for the info. I don't have the SL or the baby.....yet!
