Hi everyone I don't know if this is the right place to post this but I've got a Mercedes C220 Cdi Elegance Se 2007 and I want to be able to put my daughter in the front with me, she has a car seat & yep I've just learnt you can't turn the airbag off on the passenger side. I'm just wondering if this 3 ohm resistor trick works in the airbag plug or if there's any particular one I need. also to double check do i actually have this babysmart in mine aswell. I can't turn the airbag off, if that helps I've looked everywhere, I've tried looking for the mb car seats but they are miles away by far and to be honest I think the resistor is a safer way. also what is the actual mercedes name for this technology is it definitely babysmart

Thanks all for the help definitely the weekend lol :)

I've sorted it I managed to sort it with an idea I came up with making a little wiring loom and afew other parts and soldering etc i can now finally and safely switch it off and on by switch I mounted inside the glove box so I'm chuffed, I now can take her out again riding shotgun plus she's a little to big for the back seats just the law with booster seats at least she's in one all together, I thought it would come to making something typical merc again always complicated should be use to it by now, but got there in the end
