Bentley Gt Vs Mercedes E55

Hi,

Was at the lights today and saw a Bentley GT which took off like a rocket from standstill and was just curious if an E55 would give it any sort of challenge in terms of performance.

I don't think an E55 would stand much chance against a Bentley.The Bentley's 4 wheel drive will give a huge traction advantage.I've driven a CL600 biturbo and wheelspin is big problem even if floored at 80mph.The traction control is what keeps it in the road by cutting back the throttle

Couldn't find a recent Aitocrap, but doing a bit of research, it looks like the Bentley is 4.6 0-60 and the E55 is 5.0.

Taking the 4WD into account, I'd bet the Bentley would win every time.

Still a Footballers car though......

Mine runs sub-5 second 0-60's. 4 years old and a LOT of bang for your buck.

But I wouldn't say no to a Bentley though, even if it's a Footballers car
