Has anyone succesfully fitted a bike rack to a CLK cab (2007)?
If so could you let me know which one!
Thanks

.....Hi Stuey, I've never come across a bike carrier that doesn't damage the paintwork on your car, doesn't matter how secure you fasten them there is always some slight movement and you end up with scuffed paint at the very least. I used to use them a lot as well as my mates as we were all MB'ers and they all had scuffed paint too.
The best option is standing them on the roof on a proper carrier such as Thule but with your Cab. I wouldn't even go there.

Jim.

There are bike carriers that fit onto towbars, I don't think they will damage the paintwork, but you would need to fit the towbar, so more expensive.

Hello

Agree with rf065 the tow bar would be best route?

Detachable to you don't see it and single electrics for the light board.

That way the bikes stay away from body work, and you can still have the rood down...cool

I'm sure I read on another forum about someone who lowers the side windows and back seats, puts the front backrests forward & passes his bike through the window opening. Not recommending it myself, but I do remember reading it.
