Hello

CLK320 / A209 / 2005

Sat Nav head unit / 6 disc CD Changer. Unsure of the model number

To connect my iPhone XS to Aux. I use a Bluetooth receiver / transmitter. The particular model I use is a Smartbean. I think it cost me £10 a while back. There are loads of similar options on eBay.

You simply plug in a 3.5mm jack to the Smarbean and the other end in to your Aux input. Connect your phone and boom!

A full charge last for about 8 hours. The battery level shows up on the iPhone Notification Center, which is very handy.

I carry the charging cable with me, just in case. Along with a iPhone dongle so I can also hardwire

Looks good similar to the unit I used in my 2003 CLK 320 which my daughter now uses in her 2010 SLK.

If you have power available such as cigarette lighter or USB you can go 1 stage further and install Echo Auto in the same way. That gives voice control and any music track with a spotify account plus the ability to listen to Audio books, set your heating temp at home, turn on the lights, TV, put the kettle on and give you the latest weather and Covid infection rates.
This will also work at 50mph with the roof down in a converible ;-)

The smart Bean is hidden away in the glovebox, it has about an 8 hour run time. I recharge it twice a week if that. I use Siri on my iPhone with Apple Music, that works pretty good.

I can just imagine you driving down the motorway ... "Alexa put the kettle on "Ok! haha
