Hi all
My OM651 engine started throwing up this code intermittently this last couple of weeks with eventually an EML being lit on the dash. I have looked through the live data but there no movement in the turbo waste gate during revving or driving? IMG_20210717_115853674.jpg

Sorry, should have put P2263 as part of the code.

Only thing ive checked so far is the actuator for the wastegate and it seems free enough. I see it seem to be an electrically actuated wastegate on my turbo, are these know to give trouble? or any other pointers anybody knows that has been through this problem?

Thanks Steve, I wonder does that mean the dreaded intake manifold? or can there be other parts that can cause that? I haven't checked in any detail yet, hoping to check more things today

They have not been a problem.

Usually it´s a intercooler hose ripped or the intake manifold.

Thanks Arion, suspecting intake manifold as it was playing up when the weather was hot last week but now funnily enough its not now its cooler. I will get the van into the garage to check the intercooler pipes when work calms down a bit and I get interested in fixing it lol

Hi Larry, I'm the worlds worst at looking at a problem unless the vehicle actually breaks down or becomes undriveable. I still haven't got the van on the lift yet to check the intercooler hoses. I had the same issue arise the other day but I'm around home most of July/August tidying up a few rental properties I own, it happens when the weather is warm only. The van needs a few thing rectified and its up for the test next month so unless it lies down with me before that I wont look at it till then probably. I will post back if I find the issue.
