Interesting, wonder what my insurance cost would go up to...

I really don't like current MB chrome grilles, "Panamericana" I think they call it, but blacked out, it looks much better, though does that large "B" stand for "Bellend"? The ride on a standard A45 is pretty tooth jarring, so don't think I'd look forward to trying one of these, but it will probably be popular with Premier League footballers, if only as a runabout for their WAG.

What really did catch my attention though, scrolling down, was that green Plymouth Superbee, that's a 440ci isn't it? Old fashioned, totally impractical, flat vinyl-covered seats, and maybe an 8-track, but I'd love to have a go in that one.

As someone who buys older cars, 444hp from a 2 litre? No ta, I bet its as peaky as hell, and likely to blow up before its 20th birthday - too highly stressed for a road car.

I do like Brabus but even they can't make the current crop of Merc's look pretty.
I'm surprised they haven't got more out of it like they used to do with other models in the past.
I'm sure things like turbos, fuelling, mapping, cooling, internals, etc etc is beefed up but considering the likes of the 5.5 V8 biturbo AMG's put out around 550bhp, it puts it into perspective how far the smaller engines are being pushed.

I always prefer larger engines that are less stressed than something running closer to its limits.
