hi
i recently broke a clock spring on my c class w203,and all the srs and esp lights came on.
i changed the clock spring and every thing works except that the srs light and esp lights are still on.
do i need to go to MB to reset these lights or can it be done by me.
thanks

This is an odd one in a way. The SRS does require STAR to turn the warning off, re the ESP the spring is possible not on in the correct place and the center point has been lost, again STAR maybe able to sort that one out, though the clock spring may have to come off again.

Was it a new clock spring with the red clamp in place

no it was a second hand one.
i centered it myself by counting the number of turns each way and just setting it in the middle position.
it turns 2times left and 2times right.
is there any other way i need to center it
thanks
