c class glow plugs again

have replaced the glow plugs in my 02 plate 220 c class (because light went out then came back on for several minutes) after replacement it still does the same unless it is warm does the computer need resetting?
also is there a way to reset the computer yourself as i also have the spanner display?

If the glow plug light has been staying on for ages over a long period, you have also destroyed the relay ! renew that all ok !

Relay quite expensive.

no the glow plug light has only been staying on for the last week
however a few weeks ago i had a different syptom displaying on the dash and also car wouldnt start at all, when the machanic put the computer on it that turned out to be the relay that was replaced the cupter reset and all was fine untill last week the glow plug light started coming on so thought best replace them all before the relay goes again.
