Hello, I own a 1994 C180 and a while ago it started showing a problem whenever the engine is cold especially in the morning:
I turn on the car, heat it up a for a couple of minutes and take off.
While driving it happens that the gas pedal hangs and the engine revs at a certain RPM (1500, 2000 or 3000) and doesn't come back to idle, eventhough I had removed my foot.
To bring it back to idle I have to hit the pedal a bit. This only happens in the morning as long as the engine is cold. When it warms up it runs smooth !
Anyone has any idea ?
