Ive had a good look at the sprocket teeth and they look perfect. In my job over the years I`ve seen many sprocket and chain setups and the only thing I`ve found is a lot of wear in the rolling elements of the chain.
To me this would mean as the chain becomes longer, the tension is lost as the tensioner is out as far as it can go. I know someone in my street with an identical `05 180 and I reckon he should at least get it checked or changed if its around 70k.
Another thing is..... I can`t find the timing marks on the camshafts. I`m looking for two lines behind the sprockets but nothing.
