C200 2009 Fuel Pressure Regulator 2 Performance

Hi Guys,

U have a C200 CDI 2009 Which is currently showing the below error codes. the car struggles to start for about 5-10 seconds (as if its a fuel issue) then starts rough and is fine after about 5 minutes or so.

However this tends to be an issues every-time i start the car, even worse in the day when its cold.

Ive been advised that changing the fuel pressure regulator will sort the issues out has anyone else had this issue?.

Check injectror 2 connector/pins, measure ALL injector tank leaks. Check injector correction values (NOT those stupid voltage values but injection amounts). You should also test pressure regulator or Fuel quantity valve (SDS can do it), or then start parts darts. Then someone comes and suggests glow plugs/module - it should not cause very drastic problems at temperatures UK climate can offer even half of the plugs duff.

so do you think i should check all of this before looking to change the fuel pressure reg?

injector plug check and leak measurement zero pounds. SDS session depends on indy or hobbyist pricing. Regulator costs 100-150 I think, Fuel quantity valve same. Refurb injector 150-300. Your choice.

Okay guys quick update i ran some injector cleaner and the cars feeling a bit better only have the fuel preassure performance code up now....could this be a sensor issue?

also i have P0670 glow plug control module error also...any assistance would be great
