C200cdi vs C220cdi ?

Am I missing something, or is the C200cdi simply a "restricted" version of the C220cdi ?
Same basic engine bore/stroke, just different power/torque curves.

I'm only looking at specs on paper, so mabye there is more to it than simply the engine, or is there ?

Is there anything else in the specs of a 2004/2005 C200cdi vs C220cdi ?

I suspect there are a few other differences as when you compare what the chip tuning folk can do, they seem to get more out of a 220 than a 200. Assuming it was simply detuned, then they should be able to match back up again.

The 2150cc cdi engine is also fitted to the van range and ranges from 80 to 130 bhp. I understand it has a different turbocharger. Not sure about other differences tho.
Perhaps the car range is the same?
