Those who own or have owned either or both of these how would you compare them? What are the benefits of one over the other ? I want to get one of these too , was going more for the w212 but I've seen a really nice coupe with low mileage for a good price..

I've owned an E320 CDi (W211) and a (C207) E350CDi. Loved both of them. Preferred the look of the coupe, but it's not as easy to get in and out of as the Saloon (if that's a concern for you). Also, the longer heavier door on the coupe make parking a little more interesting :) Very happy with both! Hope you get one or the other..Now gone for "best of both worlds" with a 4-door coupe.

Yeah I love the look of the coupe but the 2 door thing might get annoying having to move the seats and also I don't like that weird plastic thing in the middle of the back seats , was planning to get the 4 door but as I said I found a coupe that looks amazing with relatively low mileage and good price. Definitely going to get either of these though that's for sure.

Don’t discount the estates the E class is cavernous when it comes to load capability. I’ll be disposing with a fridge freezer and washing machine to the local tip next week (two trips of course) they sell on well and hold their money better and are uber practical I certainly wouldn’t be without mine

Pillarless windows FTW!

ULEZ extension will be announced soon - great time to pick up a bargain as a glut of cars will hit the market at once forcing prices down. This will include really nice examples the owners didn’t want to sell.

I had a C207 for 8 happy years but depends what you want/need. There were usually only two of us in the car so rear seat access and smaller boot space wasn’t really a problem.

I'm split for my next car over the C207 and CLS, I don't need 4 seats/doors, but wonder if the CLS is a bit better made than the E. Guess I'm going to have to drive both, have a good nose around them. Lots of 207's in the market, not many CLS's about.
