c220 2003 coupe Door Speakers

Hi guys, im new to this forum so please be kind

I have just purchased the above vehicle, and looking at replacing the door speakers for better ones (ie Sony dual cones)..

1) How on earth do I gain access to them (somebody mentioned a 'door card' ? whatever that is)

2) I guess like all things MB, I will have to buy some aftermarket bracker/adapter/spacer as well ?

Hello and welcome to the forum,, yes the door cards have to come off,, these are the panel on the inside of the doorsI can send you the details but I need an Email address,,you could enter this in your signature/profile
