Hi forum,

This is my first post but I've been an avid reader for a while. So, Hi everyone!

So I need some help, just been given a C220 CDI from someone who hasn't been using it and didn't fancy the repair bills. It's got 235k miles on the clock so it's not a young one by far.

One prob is that an injector is leaking. It looks newer than the rest so I'm thinking its been replaced not that long ago but done badly. Anyway, my question is.... Where can I find a service kit for the injectors? The bolts, washers etc.

I've looked on eurocarparts but can't seem to find them.

Thanks in advance

Welcome

MB only, new bolt, crush washer required for each.

The injector and seat in the head must be clean before refitting else you'll be doing out ask over again before long...

Cheers very much.

I don't think I'll have a problem doing it myself but has anyone else done it and after getting half way through said to themselves "should've just paid someone else to do it"

Is it worth DIYing or should I just stick it in the local specialist?

If it's a recent injector it should not be too hard to get it out, you do need a new stretch bolt and crush washer when you change them though.

You'll probably not own a seat cutting tool, or a slide hammer with attachment for award buggers, it's a job which is fine if all goes well, if it doesn't...

Specialist gets my vote on this job.
