So, someone doing 100 mile commute a day, drives really slowly and saves nearly £9 a week.

I say get another £1000 off the car when buying it and drive it how you want to.

Our C220cdi loan car will top 70mpg, when driven carefully.

Earlier this year, I drove back from Wellington in Somerset to Thames Ditton in Surrey, and the computer showed 64.2 MPG. I never use the cruise, and have the AC(and the lights) on auto all the time.
Oh, and that's in my 2003 CDI 220 estate, which takes about a year to get to running temperature, even though I had the stat changed and have a piece of cardboard over half the rad.

Dangerously. But you save a few quid.
Swings and roundabouts, swings and roundabouts.

you dont need to be silly close....a big trailer will create a massive hole in the air, but you still need to be in the PAY ATTENTION ZONE..!

I was joking.

We use to bike home from school behind the school coach, and we could keep up with it for the 4 miles down the main road to the roundabout.
It is amazing how fast you can go when you get in the slipstream.
