W202 C220 CDI 1999
I was going to do the rear brakes on my c220 cdi when the caliper snapped (rotten!!) pistons were seized anyway, so I have found 2 new merc ones for £100!! Except they are for a c180 w202 part number 35/258 same kind though single retaining pin.. Will they fit my car are they the same for the w202 model?

Also the protective back plate for the handbrake shoes is non existent, so have removed them to save the new discs , but obviously need it sorted asap priced the back plates and adjusters shoes springs etc from merc and they say £106 inc vat, going to get them is it an easy job to fit them? looks like hub needs to come off..!

Would appreciate any advice!

Quite a lot of work to replace the back plates as the hub has to come off
