Yesterday my car developed a sudden fuel leak. On investigation I found that the fuel return hose between no 1 cylinder and the filter had come off at the injector. I cut about 6mm off the end and pushed it back onto the nipple on the injector and this has cured the leak. There does not seem to be any hose clip (or room to fit one!!). Does anyone know if there is any retaining device or is it simply a push fit connection on the injector?

hi
the leak off pipe on your car is a push fit only.
usually if you have a problem with leaks its because the pipe is old & brittle.
i would suggest replacement pipe before it happens again.

cheers ted
