C280 Auto

Hi

Just bought this MB C280 Auto 1994 M

Lovely car bar one thing sometimes it chokes up when driving. When i press acc pedal it make a loud bang frm the front/middle and then its ok. If you put it in Park or Neut its revs fine. Sounds a bit like miss fire. Also just found out the fans arnt blowing air out inside the car, when you turn it up full the fan in the engine is making the noise but no air in car.

Sounds like the pollen filter is blocked remove the passenger side under dash trim and look at the heater box (upwards) there are two sliding clips which retain a plate about 2 inches by eight inches the pollen filter is on top of this
