Just gave the car a run. The extra power and torque is very noticeable. Also Gaz, my revs go to 4,100 before gear changes.

You technically should change up 3400 rpm absolute max .

How do get it to change up early , flappy ?

Merc torque converter slush boxes aren't the most coperative to inputs when at or near wide open throttle and, seem to have an agenda of their own .

Looks good to me, here's mine for comparison (Wheel HP)

I shift up around 3.5k using the padles if i'm pushing on (gearbox sometimes thinks it knows better!) C350 CDI DYNO GRAPH.png

Yep tell me about it , the gearbox ignores a flappy up change sometimes when pressing on .

I find that not accelerating on full throttle makes the car just as quick as its changing gear at lower r.p.m making the most of the low down torque.

10mm initially to prevent the double gear screaming wot kickdown on a low rpm torque monster , now drops just one :)

Then an extra 10mm to help the paddle shift upchange probability .

When using the paddles, do you think some kind of audible gear shift alarm set to the peak torque might be a good idea? A lot safer than concentrating on the rpm gauge. Steve.

It looks like I,ll be getting a audible gear shift alarm then. Any recommendations?
