2013 C220 cdi sport plus
Hi all , I've been looking at buying a 2013 c350 cdi which is advertised as .........
C350 cdi Blue efficiency sport edition 125 7g tronic .
My questions are , whats the difference in a sport edition , amg line and a sport + ?
What does the 125 mean ?

Many thanks

Me -2019 GLC 350 coupe AMG line. Mrs- 1.2 vauxhall Corsa 2021 ,orange with a black roof. .
Normally just the trim level , brakes and suspension.

Amg line has exterior parts fitted like boot spoiler , skirts and amg alloys .

Amg line didn't exist with 2013 W204 but did with the updated W205 model .

With the 204 125 Edition celebrates 125 years of Mercedes , the better Comand unit included along in the price with something else , possibly Xenons .

AMG Sport is body styling , suspension , mats and 17 /18"wheels .

An AMG Sport+ is half Artico ( plastic fake leather ) with alcantara centers on the seats , red stitching to the seats , steering wheel and mats and sometimes red seat belts .

The 18" AMG alloys are a different design but diamond cut finish .

Personally I'd stay away from Artico because of it splitting , this is still an issue on 3 year old cars today .

Real leather is highly desirable as is privacy glass .

Diamond cut and the white worm .

Thankyou fornthe info .
I've been looking at the c250cdi and the c350cdi both on a 2013 plate , 95% of them are listed as AMG ??
I'm really torn between 2 in particular saloons .
The 350cdi 125 in grey with 92k , full leather , command , heated seats with the 5 spoke twin 17" amg alloys , no lip spoiler , no headlight washers and no pan roof .
The 250cdi in white with 76k , the artico/cloth seats with red stitching , heated seats , command, the full amg body styling , 18" bi alloys , headlight washers and pan roof .
Is there a huge difference in performance between them both ? I've noticed that there is nearly 100kg weight difference between them which I assume is because of the heavy v6 lump . I do a 60 mile round trip to work and back on A roads and the school run twice a week , what mpg would I be looking at roughly from them both ?
My head is saying 350 but my heart is saying 250 . A couple of my friends have quite quick diesels , 1 being a 60 plate octavia vrs diesel and the other being a 62 plate a4 estate 2.5 v6 quattro diesel . Looking at 0-60 times , bhp/torque etc of all 4 cars on paper it states the the 250 is adequate to give them both a good run for their money ?

I always go for the AMG spec. In most cases it means stiffer suspension which makes all the difference to the driving experience. On my latest Merc, a GLC, I had to suffer the pano roof just so I could get upgraded audio in the package. Never used the roof in three years, unnecessary.

I agree, I had that roof on one of mine, nice novelty at first, but rarely used after that. The window in the roof effect is great, but we took the car to the south of France for a couple of weeks, and opening that roof made my scalp blister, and if it's not hot outside, it's a bit drafty. Avoid it, put your trust in the MB climate control. Agree about AMG spec though, it makes the car better to drive if you have a drop of sportiness in your veins.

So you would say go for the 250 ?
The pan roof really would be put to good use in my case , ive missed having a sunroof for the past 4 years

Just to give another view on the Pan roof, I’ve got it on my current car, never had one before and wouldn’t want to be without one in future.

On engine size, have never driven a 250 but had eight happy years in my 350 (E Coupe) so that would be my definite choice, personally.

This is the first time I have had a panoramic roof in any car although I have always wondered what they would be like. It was part of the trim spec that I specified and have to say I really like it. :)
Honestly I cant see me ever actually opening the roof but it is worth it to me for the extra light it lets into the cabin. Plus the roof looks pretty cool when viewed from the exterior.

Regarding model numbers...Mercedes are as bad as BMW with the numbers bearing no correlation to engine size and power.
