cambelt

hello, my first post on here.

i have just purchased a 1997 c180 esprit manual. just a couple of queries.

does this car have a cambelt or chain please?

also, i read that all esprits have split/fold rear seats, but the owner says it hasnt and has never seen anything to lower the seats. any ideas pls? thanks.

Chain Just change if it becomes noisey - Well over 100,000 miles.

Not sure about the split rear seats mines a Sport and it aint got them, It was about a £200 option. Not sure why theyd give them as standard on the Espirit

it was parkers that said they were standard on the esprit, but they must be wrong or it was an option i guess.
