Can anyone tell me what is connected to this outlet if anything! 270 CDI

Just finishing the engine installation on the c class 2002 270 CDI and have just about got everything connected - and remember where everything went ..

apart from - there is an outlet from the cylinder block - near the startermotor - can anyone tell me what is connected. I cant remember removing anything from here!

Thats the water jacket drain plug.......
