Can I use Fully Synthetic? - Bought some bargain Castrol RS.

Whilst filling up in my local garage I noticed they were selling off the Castrol oils as they were changing to a different brand.  I bought 4 of the 4litre bottles of Fully Synthetic Castrol RS 0w/40 for a tenner each (must be worth it).  - I'm fairly sure my 96' C200 petrol is supposed to have semi-synthetic in it, but can I use this fully synthetic stuff OK?.

Can I use Fully Synthetic?

Yes.  It is better than semi-syntetic.
