Hi everyone,

Pursuing on my post of a couple of days ago, I am scouring various site and came across this Merc on ebay...



Can you tell me what you think should be paid, and how difficult the work seems to be or not, and how much you think it could cost, from your own experience?

I think it would depend on how good you are with a welder.
As the floor is rotten I imagine both sills are in a bad way also. Note how the N/S has no jacking points?
The boot will most likely have gone and it looks to me as if the area around bonnet drainage is rotten (see photo from N/S front).
It also looks like the rear wings have recently been sprayed, possibly to cover rotton arches?
Even if you can weld yourself, considering the cost of replacement panels, any other work needed and to MOT it I would try and find a better one. I would also imagine with 15 previous owners their's not going to be much service history
